_Help promote your coastal business on a national stage
You could feature in VisitEngland campaign
We need YOUR help creating short, engaging video content to post on social channels from 29 June to 5 July and provide a national celebration for the launch of the new VisitEngland 'All on the Coast’ campaign. The best ones could be amplified up to a national stage!
We’re recording our own videos for Norfolk and Suffolk, but we’re really keen for our coastal businesses to get involved too.
You could be an ice-cream seller on the seafront, run a paddleboarding business, be an arcade owner or a warden on a nature reserve – you can help bring authentic local voices and pride into the campaign.
We’d encourage you to capture content that reflects:
- Places to be proud of (hidden gems, standout experiences)
- Stories to be proud of (heritage, culture)
- People to be proud of (local businesses, communities)
We want to see and feel the place - show us what the Suffolk and Norfolk coast has the most of. Treat it as an invitation to a friend: 'I'm so proud that my coast has the most amazing fish and chips and I want you to come and taste them for yourself'. Make it unique to your place, local accents, characters etc. A good video should be able to showcase your destination with the sound off. Lead with the most visually appealing clips.
Tag @visitengland (consumer Instagram channel, LinkedIn) and they will aim to like, comment and share to their stories. Also tag @visitnorfolkuk or @visit_suffolk and we can do the same.
Content requirements:
A 45-60 sec video filmed on location in portrait mode (9:16), featuring you talking to camera telling us and showing us what makes your coast special (e.g. attractions, food & drink, views, experiences, local quirks)
Please start your clip introducing yourself and where you are from and use the wording ‘My coast has the most…”
Finish the clip by saying ‘Come and see what we’re proud of, all on the Norfolk/Suffolk coast’ and use the VisitEngland end frame template (detail below). Don't worry if you aren't comfortable adding the end frame template - it is not essential.
Post across your social channels between 29 June – 5 July – using #AllOnTheCoast and tagging:
If on LinkedIn – please tag @VisitEngland
If on Instagram – please tag @visitengland (consumer channel) AND @VisitEnglandbiz (corporate channel)
If on X – please tag @VisitEnglandbiz
