Core vs Enhanced Membership

LVEP membership supports tourism and hospitality businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk through digital visibility, marketing and PR activity, travel trade engagement, events, awards and ongoing industry communications.

Membership is available at two levels: Core Membership and Enhanced Membership. Both provide access to a range of benefits, with Enhanced Membership offering additional visibility, promotion and included perks.

This document explains what each membership benefit is and how it works in practice. A separate comparison table outlines which benefits are included at each membership level.

Featured listing placement is included with Enhanced Membership only, giving added prominence in selected website positions. This is not included with Core Membership.
Enhanced Membership includes a reduced rate conference ticket.
Enhanced Membership includes one free application to the Suffolk & Norfolk Tourism Awards, valid for one category in one year only. Core members may still enter the awards, but at the standard application rate.
A business listing gives you a permanent presence across LVEP’s consumer websites, helping visitors find accurate and up-to-date information about your business, including key details, imagery and links.
Members can upload events to appear on the website’s events pages and, where relevant, alongside their business listing, helping drive visibility for seasonal activity, special events and one-off experiences
All member businesses are included in relevant global categories across the website. This applies to both Core and Enhanced Membership and helps visitors discover businesses by interest, type or theme.
Core Membership includes a minimum of three guaranteed blog inclusions per year. Enhanced Membership includes up to five guaranteed blog inclusions per year, delivered in line with the wider content and marketing plan.
Both Core and Enhanced members are eligible to be considered for PR and media opportunities. Inclusion is subject to editorial relevance and media requirements.
Core members are eligible to be included in campaigns, while Enhanced members are prioritised for inclusion where appropriate. Campaign inclusion is not guaranteed at either level and depends on relevance, theme and timing.
Core Membership includes one guaranteed social media post per year. Enhanced Membership includes two guaranteed social media posts per year across LVEP’s consumer-facing channels.
Both Core and Enhanced members are eligible for travel trade referrals through LVEP’s work with tour operators and trade partners. Only LVEP member businesses are recommended through this activity.

Both Core and Enhanced members receive regular member update e-newsletters, including industry news, opportunities and LVEP updates.
Both Core and Enhanced members receive access to the LVEP Members Portal, which provides membership information, updates and practical resources.
Core and Enhanced members can access research, insight and member resources designed to support business planning, development and sector awareness.
Core and Enhanced members can access webinars, workshops and industry events. This may include free access or discounted rates depending on the event and membership level.
Both Core and Enhanced members can access competition opportunities as part of paid promotional activity or wider marketing campaigns where relevant.
