Membership + changes
What’s changing from 2026
From Spring 2026, LVEP moved from offering paid‑for website listings to a membership model covering the full range of work delivered through Visit East of England, Visit Norfolk and Visit Suffolk.
This change reflects how LVEP already supports tourism and hospitality businesses and provides a clearer structure for how that support is delivered.
From listings to membership
At present, many businesses have engaged with LVEP primarily through the purchase of a website listing. Website listings remain an important and visible part of our offer.
From 2026, listings no longer sit in isolation. Instead, they form one element of a broader membership that more accurately reflects the range of activity delivered by LVEP across the visitor economy.
This includes digital presence, content and discovery, marketing campaigns, PR and media activity, social media promotion, travel trade engagement, events, awards and industry communications. The move to membership formalises and brings together activity that has been delivered for some time.
What stays the same
This change does not remove core activity or visibility.
- Businesses continue to have a presence on LVEP consumer websites
- Visit East of England, Visit Norfolk and Visit Suffolk remain active
- Content, campaigns, PR, social media and travel trade activity continue
- LVEP continues to promote the region and support the tourism and hospitality sector
For businesses, the fundamentals of how LVEP operates remain consistent.

What’s changing
- Website listings now sit within Core Membership or Enhanced Membership
- Businesses are referred to as LVEP members, rather than simply listed
- Membership levels set out more clearly what is included at each level
- Some activity is defined with minimum included levels where appropriate
This provides greater transparency and clearer expectations around how membership works in practice.
Member support and onboarding
LVEP membership is now live, and onboarding activity has been completed to support businesses through the transition to the membership model.
Recordings and materials from the onboarding workshops are available to all members, providing guidance on how membership works in practice, how to manage your business listing, and how to make the most of available benefits.
If you are an LVEP member and feel you have missed information, or if you have questions about your membership, support is available.
You can contact the membership team at

The team is happy to answer questions, clarify how membership applies to your business and provide additional guidance where needed.
