London Stansted Airport

In 2026, over 30 million passengers travelled through London Stansted, highlighting its importance as one of the UK's busiest airports. The airport also offers seamless connections via major international hub airports, including Dubai, Amsterdam, Paris, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Dublin, and Istanbul, providing access to destinations worldwide.

Norwich International Airport has daily direct flights from hub airport Schiphol Amsterdam.

Other nearby airports include Birmingham Airport (150 miles) and Heathrow Airport (140 miles).

By Train

Norfolk and Suffolk have frequent direct Inter City trains from London Liverpool Street to Norwich, stopping at Manningtree, Ipswich, Needham Market, Stowmarket and Diss. They are operated by Greater Anglia.

Travelling by road to the East of England is simple. A well-developed network of major roads ensures a convenient journey for visitors, regardless of their origin.

Depending on the final destination, from London drive along the A12 or M11 and A14.

From the Midlands, it would be the M6 and A14, or A47.

From the North, the A1 then A47 or A14.

By Sea

Harwich Seaport serves as a convenient way to visit Suffolk and Norfolk from Europe. Stena Line operates daily ferries.
